Videocon Mobiles today launched its A55HD smartphone, with a HD screen and quad-core processor. This phone has been priced at Rs 13,499 and rivals the likes of Micromax Canvas HD, Spice Stellar Pinnacle etc.
The new Videocon A55HD has a 5-inch OGS (One Glass Solution) display with 1280x720p resolution. This handset is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor, backed by 1GB RAM. Android 4.2, the latest version of Google's free operating system, powers this phone, which has 4GB internal storage.
On the connectivity front, Videocon A55HD has features like 2G, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and microUSB. An 8MP camera that has features like panorama and burst mode is on the back, while a 3.2MP unit is on the front. The phone has a 2,000mAh battery and comes with access to V-Store app marketplace and a free protective pouch.
