No point in discussing these. It's all based on location. Quality of network changes every 500 meter. I get good network and an average of 50 mbps even during peak hours in my home on Vi. But when I go to the market just 500 meters away, it drops to 2G with just 1 bar.

As per my experience since 2018-present

They have good coverage

As i am always travelling person and visited most of states in india even some hill places.

They have good network coverage but frequent call drops and very slow data speed.
May be you are exceptional with good god's grace 🙏

I don't understand need for unlimited whole day, there are few people who want to make full use of it 24 hours.

Have seen people feeling guilty for not using complete daily data quota, and playing YouTube HD even just for listening to songs.

I hope this doesn't choke the network. Bad times for postpaid users too I guess.

Also who will use redx or even basic postpaid, if you get unlimited data < ₹400 ?

Not sure if this is already discussed, but Vi has introduced Unlimited Data for all its Postpaid Plans (Karnataka circle).
Family plans also updated. Only Primary Member gets Unlimited Data.

Now all tariff is same even if you pick ₹451 plan or ₹1201 (REDX) plan.
Difference lies only in OTT subscriptions and few other perks nobody asked for 🤡
Truly salute the amazing thinking behind these rates.

Interesting developments, it is still 50gb and UL night data in postpaid Mumbai circle
and I see even North East circle got UL postpaid data so VI doing selective plans it seems. This will have serious repercussions.

That unlimited 4G plan at 379 in Mumbai+Gujarat+Kerala circle will help Vi a lot.

North East doesn't have spectrum. As far as I know, in Guwahati, only band 3 20Mhz and band 41 20Mhz is deployed. Rest nowhere band 41. Airtel is excellent there, almost in every state.

It must be 300GB 4G data and 300GB 5G data. Not unlimited data like Jio.

Ah truly said it. Here is what I found, gotta give it to the legal team such choice of words.

Unlimited data scenario for below mentioned postpaid circles ONLY:

I still don't understand difference between two words. Limitless and Unlimited. They have explained it below, both unlimited/limitless will have cap of 300GB. So what was the need to use two different words for same type of Data cap. Now they have not mentioned whether this is 4G data or 5G data. Now these circles haven't got 5G yet, so can confirm. But 379 prepaid plan in Karnataka is having unlimited 4G data but not all people are getting these offers. 300GB means just more than 10GB per day. And few people are getting 2GB/day and night unlimited. Let's see how Vi unfolds after few months. I hope it will bring revenue to company.

I personally believe 299 4GB/day for 28 days with night unlimited data can bring fortunes to Vi overall. BSNL should try to do this after six months.
