RBI has increased UPI lite wallet limit from ₹2000 to ₹5000 & per transaction limit from ₹500 to ₹2000 & also enhanced UPI123 per transaction limit from ₹5000 to ₹10000.

The moment I have been waiting for.
 
This is so bad. Friend of mine who received money from another friend who happened to get money from some flagged account got his bank account blocked, filed a case against him and asked to visit cyber police in Bangalore.
 
The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has allowed holders of full-KYC Prepaid Payment Instruments (PPIs) to conduct Unified Payments Interface (UPI) transactions via third-party applications.

 
It has been decided not to allow, any special characters in UPI transaction ID. Any transaction with ID containing special characters shall be declined by the central system.

Has this been implemented by anyone? Haven't seen any updates from major payment apps regarding this till now.
