If the apps want to use actual fingerprint data to authenticate with UPI/Aadhar, that's not going to happen anytime soon as the Android and iOS architectures do not allow for the apps to read the biometric data. In modern smartphones, this data is secured in a closed secure enclave that is read-only for anything but the system.
