The teary eyed Betis fans and players cared and i am sure do the Chelsea players and fans.It is absolutely stupid to trash this win saying that people don't care about the 3rd tier European competition.A trophy is a trophy and it goes a long way into development of players especially the Chelsea ones who were mostly youngsters and many academy players.Europa and Conference league don't offer money like the CL but it is a competition which most of the clubs except the elite ones in PL(Due to lack of financial incentive) take seriously.As for Chelsea it has solidified Maresca's position and got him a little room with fans who were not happy with him.

But I feel only issue of conference league is to qualify u have to finish 8th rank in your nation respective league which is prestige issue for a club

The competition for that matter any European club competition gets weakened because clubs from very inferior leagues gets to compete in them.
