TVS Motors launched the Max4R LX, a new variant of the recently launched Max4R motorcycle. The TVS Max4R has been developed to offer comfort and safety while being durable on rugged Indian roads. The TVS Max4R LX enhances the comfort by offering a well cushioned long seat. The bike is powered by a 109.7 cc engine that develops high amounts of torque and pickup. The Max4R LX with its powerful mix of reliability, hardiness, low cost and fuel efficiency is being touted as the toughest bike in its class. Targeted at the rural and semi-urban markets, the Max4R LX 's updated features improve its handling, stability and safety.
B V Sreedhar, Vice President, Business on Wheels, TVS Motor Company said: “Ever since the launch of Max4R, which has been very well received by our customers, we have received several requests for a commuter version, with similar features. Riding conditions in rural areas demand that a motorcycle has sturdy shock absorbers for smooth ride comfort and reinforced spokes and stronger frame which can take the pressure of constant riding on uneven surfaces. During the rainy season, road conditions these areas can prove a deterrent to rider safety. In order to counter this, we have retained all the features of the Max4R including the bigger brakes and larger tyres in this variant as well at no extra cost.”
One of the innovative features of the TVS Max4R LX is the optional mobile charger. This is ideal in rural conditions as such areas go without power for long periods. The bike will be available in Black and Red along with vibrant graphics. TVS motorcycles have a reputation of being reliable and frugal. This new motorcycle from TVS is expected to improve this image further.
