actually the above trick improves the internet speed rather than the computer speed...

computer speed basically depends on the hdd and RAM... make sure the hdd is having enough free space on the partition where windows is intalled, keep that partition free from fragmentation, use disk cleanup to remove useless files, use minimal startup items, prefer 64bit OS over 32 bit if your hardware supports it... tup:tup
