Still I remember in 2012 , I done FD interest rate of 8.75
Those having a four-wheeler or an air conditioner will be automatically excluded from social schemes

Congress looted people money indirectly via scams
Bjp doing it directly from people pocket via tax , subsidies cut , welfare scheme cut etc...
I ashamed now was a bjp supporter @ one time .. Both national party looting people money that for sure

Don't know why many people are not treating it as a welcome move. Such steps should be there, otherwise people will remain poor till 2099
Government have to remove such subsidies and all in a faster rate because results of these subsidies will be worst when India will not get any financial aid from World Bank or other agencies in coming years.
In my village, many people own cemented houses, 2 wheelers, refrigerator, LED, Washing Machines and still those people are taking benefits from Government by getting Wheat at ₹2 Kg, Rice ₹3 kg. Those people are buying rice and wheat in subsidy and then selling that in ₹20-25 per kg. As they don't need those wheat and rice because they grow their own.
Such people should not be there in the beneficiaries list but unfortunately under Indian Constitution there's no any power in the hands of Government, MC, Panchayat or any other officials so that they can remove such people from the list.

That is what the issue is. Congress has made people thinking like that and that is why most of us react in this way without thinking. Here people give vote just for a alcohol pouch. I am not saying BJP 100% correct but guys at least some efforts are being made. Getting subsidies or keep them abusing is as much as big crime as much as doing corruption. These steps will not be pleasant for some time for sure but good for future. For me right now, there is no alternatives as well. So I am totally agree with you.
