A ten(10) day Regional SARAS Fair was organized in our town under the guidance of Ministry of Rural Development, GOVERNMENT OF INDIA.
Craftsmen and Folk Artist from different parts of India displayed their talent during the fair. This was the first time such a event on large scale was held in our town.
Boarding and lodging is free for the participants (Free stay & Food). One can display handicraft and/or other items. Amusement rides were the star attractions.
Such government supported SARAS fairs are held all over the country, If someone or his/her relative is interested in participating in such type of fairs, one can check this link : https://rural.nic.in/initiatives/saras
Tones of different type of articles and food were at display. I was not able to capture all but here I share a few snaps to get the idea ...
