Ten Sports look like to be rebranded in 2015!

With the extensive cricket coverage & european leagues plus WWE, it's more likely the necessity to rebrand ten cricket as ten is giving even live tennis or football matches there.

It provides the opportunity to re-brand the whole ten bunch & introduce respective HD channels like below
1. Ten Sports to Ten Sports 1 & Ten HD 1
2. Ten Action to Ten Sports 2 & introduce Ten HD 2
3. Ten Cricket to Ten Sports 3 & introduce Ten HD 3

As Ten Group have promised to rebrand the sports channels and possibly introduce new channels this fiscal year,
Current trend shows its more likely.

I do expect Ten Group introduce the HD channels to mirror the SD version sooner than later !

most of dth subscribers have sd stb so there is need of sd channels

Ten sports to Ten sports 1
Ten action to Ten sports 2
Ten :hd to Ten :hd 1
Ten cricket to Ten :hd 2

Some update on this front.

Seems Ten Sports is awaiting permission for issue of license of new channels and post which only the rebrand would take place.

So let's wait and watch.
