Not heavily I guess. Airtel still offers their FTTH where it is available, while Jio is pushing AirFiber even in areas where their FTTH is available.

Also, I have heard too many wrong information being spread by Jio guys about AirFiber being better than Fiber. Many elderly people are actually believing them and taking that instead.

Airtel gave me a 2.4gbps router with a 40mbps airfiber connection in june 2024
