Those readers owning a Nokia Symbian^3 device, namely, the Nokia N8, Nokia C7, Nokia C6-01 or Nokia E7, will be glad to note that the Symbian Anna update is now available for download via the latest version of Ovi Suite (v3.1.1)
mprovements are numerous, from minor interface and speed changes to a whole new series of native apps, including a brand new browser and Nokia Maps. Check our previous coverage for more details about the update, as well as our reviews of the Nokia X7 and Nokia E6, two Symbian Anna devices we recently tested.
Those Symbian^3 device owners who do not want to, or are unable to use the Ovi Suite software to update their devices can get their devices upgraded at any Nokia Care or Nokia Priority Partner stores in the country.
Commenting on the launch of the update, Ilari Nurmi, Vice President at Nokia India, said:
“Nokia’s Symbian smartphones are used by millions of people around the world every day, addressing specific consumer needs and providing choices at many price points. Symbian Anna represents a significant update to the experience those users have and demonstrates our ongoing commitment to Symbian, which will see up to 10 more phones introduced over the next 12 months, further updates to the user experience and support for the software until at least 2016.”
