There was relief and joy in store for West Indies and Indian Premier League side, Kolkata Knight Riders, as Sunil Narine, the spinner, was on Thursday (April 7) cleared to resume his career after a suspension for a suspect bowling action that also ruled him out of his team's World Twenty20 title-winning campaign.

The 27-year-old Trinidadian was suspended in November last year after being cited during a One-Day International match in Sri Lanka. He had also been reported for a similar problem during the Champions League T20 tournament in 2014.

"Sunil Narine's action found to be legal, can now resume bowling in international cricket and domestic cricket events worldwide," the International Cricket Council (ICC) tweeted.

Narine has played six Tests in his stop-start career, taking 21 wickets. He also has 77 wickets in 55 ODIs and has 40 victims in Twenty20 Internationals. He had to drop out of the original 15-man West Indies squad for the World Twenty20 in India which ended on Sunday with his team securing a second title with a four-wicket win over England.

Icc should check batting action of players like ABD, MAXWELL, Warner who play switch Hit. Those are illegal and should be banned [emoji35]

+1

Also Murno and should cut match fee for playing such shots too :wall

If batsman can switch hand without telling bowlers and umpire then bowlers should also be allowed to switch hand without telling umpire and batsman. Then it will be a fair game [emoji6]
