Coming to Software Updates Samsung May give 1 Update for that price range
But in case of Mi A1 Google Promised to give Updates (that to regular) for 3 years...

Samsung J7 NXT is a better option as it has amoled display. As others said, MI A1 is a better option if you don't mind the brand. I stopped suggesting Moto because of their poor software support in recent times. Nokia 6 is also a good option.

My suggestion: Mi A1 for this price range, or wait for Redmi 5Plus (Redmi Note 5) to be launched in February. Price will be around 12K-14K. It will have 18:9 display but Dual Camera is not confirmed.
