Online media outlets are very poor content writers.
Question : This article talks about Aid to "India". To whom in India? Its not government for sure as it would have screemed it every time they wrote India

It's like those misquoted news like the UAE 700cr aid to Kerala which was false

We have achieved a remarkable feat by building statue of such a magnitude bt the cost is very high. Just look at Bapun Raz’s picture above and the countries having such monuments are the countries which are either highly developed or their economy easily dwarfs ours.We should give respect to our freedom fighters by adopting their principles rather than making Statues.Even Sardar Patel would have preferred otherwise.
The construction and maintenance cost is very hard to recover from tourists.
Just my opinion,I’m sure some would disagree bt who am I to question them.

Look how gujarat is Marketing Narmada river for tourism purpose dispute only having about 12% (161km) of total Narmada river & Madhya Pradesh (M.P.) which is not only having the origin of Narmada (Rewa) river (Amarakantak Hill) but also possessing about 82%(1077 km) of total length of Narmada (Rewa) river.(total length 1312 km) has not been able to utilize (Marketed) Narmada as long as tourism is concern.

(This is all only in the reference of Tourism)

Note:-Narmada is the lifeline of M.P., it is only because of Maa 🙏Narmada river we are getting water for irrigation, electricity,Drinking etc.
True words. Maa Narmada is our patron.

The article says , British Govt to Indian Govt. Also there is one statement from British MP.

It isn't necessary to make giant statues to honor freedom fighters by wasting precious resources. We can make small statues and honor them as well.

Mod Note: Provocative content removed.

Nopes. It says India not Indian government or equivalent terms.Even if they pay to Indian government, its a royalty we should get given they consumed our resources for all those years.

Instead of that build houses for homeless or use that money for poor people
Use that money for farmers who r suffering due to lack of rain
If they want build statues build it simple within 1 crore
This socialist sh#t exists on paper only. We are living in a liberalised India

Last night Tory MP Peter Bone said: ‘To take £1.1billion in aid from us and then at the same time spend £330million on a statue is a total nonsense and it is the sort of thing that drives people mad.
