Southee, McClenaghan expected to return for third ODI

Tim Southee and Mitchell
McClenaghan are expected to be back
for the third ODI in Auckland to
boost their bowling line-up. Southee
was rested for the first two ODIs due
to an ankle niggle while McClenaghan
was rested ahead of a busy schedule.

However, the continuing changes in
the team have opened up two
distinct point of views regarding
selection. One school of thought has
emerged that a settled team will
result in consistency and momentum
while the other point of view is that
rotation of a team robs the team of
momentum.

The Eden Park wicket is expected to
be hard and fast and New Zealand

confirmed that changes were
