After revoking public access to mutiple IMD resources, this is a sigh of relief. Also ot was damn difficult to get in touch with any IMD officials, even for journalists. This will pave a way for more and more people feeling connected to official weather agency of India. A very good move.

The southwest monsoon has reached portions of TamilNadu. Conditions are favorable for monsoon to reach Chennai in a few days. Pull from the upcoming monsoon low in North Bay of Bengal will activate and accelerate the Monsoon all over South India
