Duminy suffered a cut in his hand
during the third ODI in Rajkot, and
has been sitting out since then.
"JP Duminy had the stitches removed
from his right hand laceration two
days ago. He will have a net session
in the next couple of days and should
be available for selection for the
second Test match in Bengaluru,"
Mohammed Moosajee, South African
team manager, said in a press release
form Cricket South Africa.
Duminy's absence in the Mohali Test,
robbed South Africa of not only a
valuable batsmen but also an off-
spinning option, who could have a
impact on the pitch for the first Test
which helped the tweakers.
South Africa have another injury
concern with Dale Steyn, who did not
bowl in the second innings of the
