The Sony Xperia SL which is rumored to be the successor of the Xperia S smartphone, is a reality now. Sony has officially listed the device as “coming soon” on its website, along with full details and specs.
The Xperia SL is a slight refresh of the S, with 2 additional color choices (silver and pink), a faster dual-core 1.7GHz Qualcomm CPU and Android Ice Cream Sandwich.
Xperia SL is loaded with a 720p HD Reality Display with Mobile BRAVIA Engine and 12.1 megapixel camera with pulsed LED flash and Auto focus with the abilty of HD video recording (1080p). Also includes a Front-facing camera (1.3 megapixel, 720p)
Connectivity options include High speed 2.0 and Micro USB, WiFi and WiFi Hotspot functionality, HDMI and it is a DLNA Certified device. It can provide 3D surround sound and its PlayStation® Certified. Xperia SL comes with a internal phone storage of 27.8GB (up to 25.8GB user-accessible memory) and a 1GB RAM.
The smartphone also offers 50GB of free storage for life through Box.
