Sony has launched its Android 3.2 Honeycomb-based tablet, Sony Tablet S, in India for Rs. 29,990. Sony has only mentioned price of the 16GB Wi-Fi variant of the Tablet S on its Sony India site. There's no word on other models of the Tablet S yet. Sony had unveiled the Tablet S in April this year.
The Sony Tablet S comes with a large 9.4-inch display with 1280x800 pixels resolution. Its capacitive touchscreen display also supports multi-touch input option. The tablet runs Android 3.2 Honeycomb operating system and is powered by a NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor. The Sony Tablet S has a 16GB of internal storage and 1GB of RAM. On connectivity front, the tablet supports 3G, GPS, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. The tablet comes pre-installed with PlayStation certified games. Check out a video review of the new Sony Tablet S here.
