Sony previously showcased its Android-based watch at the Consumer Electronics Show this year and it was expected to arrive in India around the first half of July. It is at last available at a price of Rs 6,299. The device was first posted on the Sony India Facebook page. The Smartwatch can remotely control the mobile audio player software and has 15 pre-installed apps and can store up to 255 applications.

Just like Apple's iPod nano, it displays four apps at a time in a grid pattern. The device functions as a wrist watch but allows users to control their Android smartphones remotely. It features a 3.3-cm (1.3-inch) OLED display. The users can use the watch to get updates as it vibrates and gives screen alerts. Users can get alerts about key events like an incoming call, text, messages and social feeds.
