Yes it does redirect to Hotstar.
Does it mean it is not actually Live TV? I can't watch Star Gold or Channel V "LIVE" on Hotstar.

Always had this question- why doesnt Hotstar have a Live TV section?

No you can watch them on app itself.

redirect to hotstar like jio tv.. movies also redirect to hostar

Not only movies, live tv, all tv shows also available in Airtel TV. But redirected to Hotstar
