Sony is resuming the Nougat rollout for the year-old Xperia XA and Xperia XA Ultra.

Almost all custom Rom is rooted but browser based login should work on all devices.

Lineage OS (Earlier CyanogenMod) doesn't have inbuilt root.
You should flash SuperSu or Magisk separately to gain root access on LOS.
Resurrection Remix (RR) also doesn't have inbuilt root. Nt sure abt RR.
