Guys I’m on 699 black Wifi+DTH plan
I have already claimed JioHotstar subscription from Airtel Thanks app but when I open Airtel xstream app, JioHotstar does not open and it asks me to subscribe and everything is working fine with the mobile number registered in Hotstar app.

Because you got individual jiohotstar subscription and in xstream app jiohotstar considered bundled subscription only.

699 black plan provides hotstar subscription individually, not with xstream app (Rs.279/-). So you can access hotstar app directly with airtel fiber reg. mobile

But what is the difference? On one hand, you offer subscription under a plan and on the other hand, you make it impossible with your own application.

The hotstar content within xstream app can only access if you purchased it bundled 279 plan.

You got individual hotstar subscription that you can use with hotstar app itself

Thats why you can not access hotstar within xstream app because you got xstream premium plan including zee5 and sonyliv contents with other those free ott apps.

Xstream app sometimes gives blur video quality and it pixelates in 1080p also

Especially in sonyliv contents quality is very low.

So maybe issue will be with hotstar content also who knows.

In my opinion consider yourself lucky as you got individual subscription and not within xstream app.

Thats why you can not access hotstar within xstream app because you got xstream premium plan including zee5 and sonyliv contents with other those free ott apps.

Hotstar content can access in hotstar app, not in xstream app. same for Netflix and Zee5, but Sony, Lions gate and other content available in xstream app only, not their respective apps.
