I personally like Mi App store as they reward points for installation of apps which play store obviously don't offer. It also allows some apps which is blacklisted from play store too.

I don't think stock android phone sells very well. Google Pixel 4, XL, Xiaomi Mi A3, etc is not best selling phone. Samsung's S10 OnePlus's 7 series, is the most popular in premium segments..
Smartphone manufacturers don't show interest on Stock Android and it's not my personal choice either...

Google's phones are ridiculously expensive. Mi A3 is overpriced.

Most users in India atleast goes to buy phones to use third party apps like Facebook and PUBG. Most aren't concerned about Skinned OS or Stock Android.

But I look for the OS and UI before buying...😉

Earlier used RN4 to experience MIUI and got annoyed when they launched Ads...

Now using One UI with A50...

I am talking about regular consumers. If customers cared about OS. Infinix phones wouldn't be best sellers on flipkart. 😉

Btw, Do Mi A3 has any cons?

I am planning for another phone in range <15,000

Samsung/Redmi? Any other

I recommend asking @Sparker0i bro for phone related queries. IMO Mi A3 is overpriced because of its HD+ display. Under 15k I would have recommended getting Redmi Note 8 pro or add 1k and buy Poco XT. But you hate MIUI. So wait for Sparker bro's suggestion.

Android 10 update has been delayed twice now. More or less, Xiaomi is killing android one. Don't go for this one at least. Will also not recommend a Nokia phone.

I would suggest to play the waiting game. Right now, only note 8 pro, X2 (poco, realme) excite me for that price range. But still i anticipate something better in the next few months. Hopefully for you, Nokia 5.2/5.3

Recently my friend bought mi a3 6gb variant.Performance is just good.you can get better processor at this price(non stock android).Phone is really compact, easy to hold.display is HD+ so it supports upto 720p only.hope Android 10 will improve it's performance.

I suggest u to go with poco x2 though it has miui but its ad-free (for now).and it will get good Development support for custom roms too.so u can try aosp roms later.
