Why don't OEM's release Google Play Edition or stock android version of their phone? It would be nice to have a Realme or Vivo phones where their software sucks.

Custom UI like Color OS, MIUI gives significant control of users to the manufacturer. They access our usage patterns, generate revenue from Ads or pre installed apps and also force us to buy new phone by stopping software updates.

I agree. But there should be 2 versions. Trust me most users would go for non stock android version.

Sadly, they won't do that because of the reasons @Abhinav842 bro mentioned.

That's where Custom Roms come in. Xiaomi Phones have had the largest Developers Community, because of their extremely heavy skin MIUI. Custom Roms are better in every way.
Most people you ask, wont know the difference between what is stock & what is a custom skin. People who do know the difference, if they research a bit, they can easily install a custom rom. There are many videos on Youtube with detailed step-by-step instructions.

BUT
I would definitely love it if the Brands start providing us the choice to choose between their own UI & Stock UI (just like the Asus ROG Phone 2).
