Long story shorts. I love electronic music. I am using high bass headphones at full sound since last 11 years. Slowly encountering hearing problems since last 2 years. Sometime a person has to explain things to me twice at crowded space. I thought it was just me. But reading articles about this. I can confirm this is becoming a common occurance.

Be careful while using headphones. It might lead to deafness.

This is definitely a serious mistake. This has been normalised now among the youngsters. Stop using headphones at full sound immediately before making more damage to your ears. And yes consult an ENT ASAP.

Gradual decrease in hearing is normal as we get older, using Headphones and earphones continuously does have an impact on ears.

Due to using earphones for longer time or less sleep, started having tinnitus. listen to max 30-40 and reduce sound when there is no noise. Few days don't use headphone to relax ears , start trying to listen less sound and sometime use speaker. Do consult ENT.
