Ordered groceries from BigBasket for the first time. Delivery slot was 07:00 AM to 10:00 AM today. But they canceled it without any prior notice and rescheduled it to the next day between 06:00 AM to 10:00 PM. They don't even have the common sense to understand that I selected that particular day and time slot because I needed it at that time or I am available at that time. I might not need it the next day. I ordered it on "Sunday" for a reason. And they don't even have the basic sense to allow users to choose the rescheduled time slot. It would have been fine if they informed me the previous day that they won't be able to fulfill the order. Then I would have gone to the market next morning for shopping. But they gave the cancellation notification just few minutes before the end of the time slot. Now if I go to the market, I will get only leftover stuff.
There was no consistency in the reason for cancelation either. On email they said that it was canceled by user (which I obviously did not). But on app it says that it was canceled due to operational issues.
I also used the "BBNEW" code for getting ₹100 off on first order. That too got wasted now. I will be sticking to Flipkart Grocery from now onwards.
