Riding high on robust sales of smartphones, Samsung India has seen its share in smartphone market in Gujarat increasing to 47.4% in 2016 from 42% in 2015. With the launch of its new smartphone Galaxy C9 Pro, the company expects to witness further growth in its share in Gujarat market.
"Gujarat is very important market for Samsung. In fact, it features among the company's top 10 markets in India. Out share in the state's smartphone market has grown to 47.4% in 2016, which was 42% in the previous year," said Manu Sharma, vice-president, mobile business, Samsung India.
