Discussion Samsung Galaxy M30s

I have been using Galaxy M30S (128 GB Variant) for 1 Year & 3 months. It was working fine for my needs.
Suddenly, 2 weeks back while removing from charging the phone was really hot and was stuck. I restarted it immediately.
But since that day It started restarting all of sudden in between. even during calls, it was restarting automatically.

When I have visited the store center, the store center people said that it's a motherboard problem & I need to replace it. The cost will be 7200/-
which is close to half of the original price.

But the issue is not faced by me alone. latest amazon reviews say the same.

Complaint about M30s Motherboard issue.

I have been a really huge Samsung fan till date. But this was really not expected from an esteemed brand like Samsung.

It's the same old Samsung problem. Most of their models work for only 1-1.5 years, even flagships. Our S7 edge died in a similar fashion!

That's worst that such things happen even with flagship devices.

I purchased it during the Republic Day Sale for ₹17,970. My previous phone was barely giving me an hour of SOT. The Battery swoll and the Display was falling apart. The phone's screen died the very next day of receiving my new phone. Thankfully I moved all the data to the new phone by then. Samsung's Quick Switch was a blessing.
I have been too busy. That's why couldn't post any review. I didn't even click any photos of the phone.

my friends J series Samsung phone bought in 2018 still running properly. another friend's S8 phone still runs properly though battery life is only for some hours - he enabled dark screen mode it helped save to some extent battery. may be i guess its related to software updates it might cause problems by some extent due to unoptimized properly for battery optimization & apps , cache. my friends enables battery saver mode in j series phone.

I think if we maintain it properly then it wont have much problem for few years for sure. or may be earlier they used to manufacture of standard quality nowadays they don't do it with that perfection as earlier when they were new.
