Samsung has unveiled its new Galaxy J series smartphone in Philippines, which is named as Samsung Galaxy J1 mini . The smartphone has been listed on the company's official Philippines website, but there is no information about its price or availability. The smartphone comes in three colours - White, Black, and Gold.
The Samsung Galaxy J1 mini has a 4-inch WVGA (480 x 800p) display. It is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor, which is paired with a 0.75 GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage with option to expand the storage up-to 128GB via microSD card. The smartphone runs on Android (version unknown) operating system.
The Galaxy J1 mini sports a 5-megapixel CMOS rear camera and a VGA front-facing camera. The smartphone is backed up by a 1500mAh battery, which claims to offer up-to 8 hours of talk-time on 3G network. Further, the smartphone offers Dual SIM, 3G, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, MicroUSB 2.0, Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g/n 2.4GHz), Wi-Fi Direct, and Accelerometer. The measures 121.6x63.1x10.8mm and weighs around 120 grams.
Considering the specifications, we expect the Galaxy J1 mini to be a budget smartphone.
