Samsung Galaxy J1 (2016) with 4G, Super AMOLED display unveiled

After releasing Samsung Galaxy J1 Mini in Philippines, Samsung has now unveiled another Galaxy J series smartphone in Russia and Philippines, which is named as Samsung Galaxy J1 (2016). The smartphone has been listed on the company's official Russian and Philippines website. However there is no information about its price or availability. The smartphone comes in three colours - White, Black, and Gold.
The Galaxy J1 (2016) offers a 4.5-inch WVGA (800x480p) Super AMOLED display. It is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core Exynos 3475 processor, which is clubbed with with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage, with option to expand storage up-to 128GB via MicroSD card. The smartphone runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop operating system and is backed up by a 2050mAh battery, which claims to offer up-to 11 hours of talktime on 3G network.
The Galaxy J1 (2016) sports a 5-megapixel CMOS autofocus rear camera with an LED flash and a 2-megapixel CMOS front camera. Further, the smartphone offers Dual SIM, 4G/LTE, Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g/n,), Bluetooth 4.0, Micro-USB 2.0, GPS/Glonass, Accelerometer, and Proximity Sensor. The device measures 132.6 x 69.3 x 8.9 mm and weighs around 131 grams
