Following an internal restructuring at global level, Sameer Garde has returned to Dell India taking the role of MD and President. Garde who is currently VP and GM, Global Business based out of Austin, Texas was earlier Country Manager, Sales Operations, Dell India. Garde has held several positions at Dell India, APJ and Global over the past decade.
According to Dell sources, there is no other change in the executive team. Mahesh Bhalla, Executive Director and GM, Consumer and SMB and Harsha Lal, Executive Director and GM, Public and Large Enterprise Business, Dell will report to Garde.
Garde will in turn report to Amit Midha who has taken over as President, Asia Pacific and Japan and Chairman, Global Emerging Markets, Dell. Midha was earlier Vice President, APJ CSMB and Chairman, Dell China.
