-- The Economic Times Leaders Challenge Tour is presented by Sahara India Pariwar in association with Chevrolet Captiva. The stage is set for the Grand Finale of the fourth edition of the very successful The Economic Times Leaders Challenge Tour (Presented by Sahara Group) as an elite field comprising 20 of the country's top CEOs will tee off at the revered Royal Melbourne Golf Club in Melbourne, Australia. The grand finale will be played at Melbourne, Australia, sponsored by Tourism Victoria. The mega event is co-sponsored by Ballantine's, Federique Constant and Shri Ramswaroop Memorial Group of Professional Colleges while Oberoi Hotels and Resorts and Trident Hotels are the hospitality partners, Singapore Airlines is the airline partner and ColorPlus the clothing partner. The event is managed by leading event management company Tiger Sports Marketing.

This is the culmination of a nation-wide hunt with the help of Sahara group for the best corporate golfing talent. Sahara India Pariwar presented The Economic Times Leaders Challenge Tour in association with Chevrolet Captiva teed off in Bangalore and traversed through Hyderabad, Delhi, Kolkata and Mumbai where the cream of India's Corporate Inc battled it out to secure the final berth. While the theme was to enjoy, the competitive spirit of these decision makers was quite apparent.

Played in a unique format, as many as four golfers from each venue qualified for the final that included the individual winners and runners-up of the 0-17 handicap category and 18 & above handicap category, respectively. In each of the zonal rounds, top decision makers also got an opportunity to mingle with some of the elite list of celebrities. Donald's Trump's famous words were "all major business decisions are taken on a golf course". The Economic Times Leaders Challenge Golf Tour was thus conceptualized keeping this very quote in mind which is appreciated by Sahara Group. The Sahara India Pariwar Sponcered the event because it provides a platform for leading corporate lords to meet and interact on one platform, not just to compete in a world-class golf tournament but also to further help progress the economy as such.

The Grand Finals will be played on single Peoria system of handicapping. The winners of the grand finale are set to be pampered with prizes ranging from a brand new Chevrolet Captiva, a luxury car from the stable of GM for the individual winner to exquisite watches from Federique Constant and TaylorMade golf sets.
