Puttaparthi, Jun 20: Police on Sunday, Jun 20 arrested two persons who allegedly carried Rs 5 crore in the guise of bus passengers. The government owned bus reportedly started from Sai Baba's place Puttaparthi to Bangalore.

Media reports said that police detained two Tamil Nadu men and brought them to a secret place in Anantapur for questioning. Sources quoted as informing, "Acting on a tip-off, police stopped the Bangalore-bound bus at Kothacheruvu and recovered the gunny bags loaded with currency notes. Police detained two men and took them to Anantapur along with the money."

According the police officials, the huge amount of money was carried from Puttaparthi. Recently, another man namely Harishananda Shetty was also arrested with Rs 35 lakh at the same place.

The detention of two people with this large amount of money caught more attention as 1.5 crore rupees, 98 kilo gold and 307 kilo silver have been recovered from Sai Baba's secret chamber in Yajur Mandir.

Now, with the flowing of this huge money from Puttaparthi within the short time raises questions among many. Though officials rejected to comment on the source of money, minute investigation has already been began in the cases.
