With talks about Didier Drogba's new contract still dragging on, Inter Milan could look to swoop for the Chelsea striker.
According to reports in the Daily Mail, the Serie A side are looking to add the 33-year-old to their squad, especially after losing Samuel Eto'o to Russia side Anzhi.
While Inter would prefer a loan deal for Drogba, they would also look at a cash-cum-player deal involving Goran Pandev and an offer of £6 million in exchange for the striker.
The Serie A giants have also been linked with a move for Atletico Madrid's Diego Forlan, but his agent has denied a notion of a deal, and it was reported that only Tottenham Hotspur and AC Milan are keen to make a move for the 32-year-old Uruguayan.
Question marks have also been raised about Drogba's playing chances at Stamford Bridge, as manager Andre Villa-Boas chose to start Fernando Torres upfront in their 0-0 draw at Stoke City, and he could well decide to call time on his career at the London club, especially the expected arrival of Romelu Lukaku from Anderlecht.
