Hotstar removed from the India vs England Promo today, now let's see whether it airs on Hotstar or Jio Cinema or Jio Hotstar is launched by then bcoz there are no matches of India from 7th Jan to 22nd Jan so the load on servers of both apps would be quite low & it would to easy to merge/launch the apps

Absolutely no strategy at all, don't know what were they smoking while acquiring hotstar, looks like they acquired for the sake of it and now they are totally confused. Either use hotstar for premium content and jio cinema for free content or shut down jio cinema. Another option is to restrict jio cinema to jio users only like bfr.

Everything takes time nov 14 only they announced completion of merge ..i think they are planning to implement jio cinema contents in hotstar That's why introducing jiocinema contest and marketing event in hotstar it's take time for everything

As per cricbuzz - Jio and Star to operate as unified entity from India-England series
Jio will share their rights to Hotstar and also get the hotstar rights to jio cinema and sports 18.
it could be similiar to star and espn collaboration in 2000
