Jio fiber is not available everywhere. With airfiber and limited data if they launch LIVE tv it is useless. They should give TV services without a data consumption.
Anyway let's wait and see.
If they launch IPTV like service it would definitely create more competition amongst ISP's.

IPTV without data usage not possible brother
Very much possible brother.

They just need to assign a separate VLAN ID for IPTV and exclude it's data usage counting from FUP data usage count.

However, considering Airtel IPTV isn't doing it. Jio also may not do it.

It's very easy to implement for operators like Jio & Airtel. Even BSNL had implemented it for their IFTV service initially.

Implementation is very tough Ex: we are watching 1 minute in iptv and another minute in OTT, so we need STB with LAN port for iptv and accessing apps in TV with WIFI.

I think they are testing different things otherwise in past jio was able to start live TV service before airtel and bsnl

Other option is to have dedicated Content delivery Network (CDN), which means no separate modem setting is required. Skypro on BSNL is currently works on CDN with no modem setting and also no disturbances for internet. Where as WECONNECT requires a vlan setting in modem itself and internet will not work if connected with specific VLAN through LAN cabel or dedicated wife access.

FUP data will be deducted?, If Skypro uses CDN,
