Not just that, I've seen Amazon Prime as well as Netflix getting ads in Jio fiber while at friend's house. It's like purchasing low cost inferior equipment in bulk to reduce costs and serve same sht to common people so here Jio tiedup with ad pushed plans from these OTT players clubbing it into Jio fiber and served it :censored::verysad2:
Never seen ads in Prime (except Amazon series' ads which shows up for Lite subscription users, I suppose) and Netflix here.

I have seen this discrepancy, don't know what JIO is doing. But ads I was served with. Anyways for many issues I have been using local ISP , peace of mind

It could be for some users 🤔

Since like a month or so, I have rarely needed to use my local ISP. I still keep it recharged for backup, but luckily it is working well now... for now. 😂

I am just sad about ads in JioHotstar. I can't use DNS adblocker on TV, so can't avoid ads on the contents I used to watch on JioCinema.

why so? I have previously used DNS adblocker in my Xiomi tv. Any specific reason?
I am mainly using Jio STB, and each time I used any content blocking DNS like NextDNS, ControlD etc., it results in buffering while watching live TV. And my father watches news channels most of the time, so not really an option.

Also, gotta setup it on my router for STB, since it doesn't have any option to set custom DNS and my router doesn't support secure DNS yet, so they don't work well anyway.
