Reliance communications has rolled out a new 4G special tariff pack of Rs 149 for its customers in Andhra Pradesh circle, according to a report by. The special tariff voucher offers unlimited local and STD calling without any cap and is valid for 28 days.
The pack is also offering 300 MB 4G data similar to Reliance Jio ’s entry packs. The voucher however does not offer 100 SMS and free unlimited outgoing calls on national roaming like Jio does.
The Rs 149 pack is largely beneficial to subscribers that use voice service a lot as it makes for a great offer with unlimited local and STD calling. Currently, Jio users need
VoLTE handsets in order to avail the benefits of its service, which is not the case with RCom users.
Mukesh Ambani will soon be coming up with VoLTE feature phones at a meagre cost of Rs 999 to target a larger group.
There are also reports that Reliance Communications will soon be migrating the CDMA customers of MTS to its own 4G network. Rcom’s website has now started allowing MTS customers to register for an upgrade to Rcom 4G.
RCom is currently in process of merging its wireless operations with MTS. The merger is awaiting final nod of DoT. Post the merger, MTS subscribers will be able to migrate to Rcom.
