Old school...search for the network (manual search), the network which shows on the top apart from your current sim, has good strength in your location...it also shows available 2g,3g,4g,5g networks

Moreover, if you go to their vodafone store or mini store they force you to take postpaid connection and say that prepaid activation/onboarding is not working in their app. If you insist that you want prepaid only they will give you contact number of some chattri wala or field executive.

Yes, my friend did a change of name for his prepaid SIM, and they forced saying pre to pre is not available, you have to shift to postpaid. Thats the only option.
