Purchased a Vi sim card recently and I'm done.

First of all there is no signal or 1-2 bars, mostly 2G signal, atleast in my area (same situation in my village too which is 35 kms from where I live currently). Complained many times but no action has been taken. They advertise they are adding 50 towers daily, I don't think so.

Secondly, I'm just tired of so many messages. They text 25-30 messages everyday for literally no reason. Plus, the flash messages are so irritating. Whenever you are on something important, a flash message will appear out of nowhere saying — 'To stop flash SMS follow these steps.."
Seriously! I mean seriously!! You are the only one sending Flash SMS!

Will just port it to some other sim card whenever the 90 days are completed.

I too purchased one and didn't even use it for a month. VI is dead. Do not think of choosing it.

They are putting ads saying "we are adding 100 towers every hour". That's 2400 towers a day, 16,800 towers a week and 873,600 a year!

I disagree. In my city the coverage is at par with jio.

Also i felt the call quality is better

Same issue facing in Hyderabad also, poor data coverage and Volte keeps disappearing, yes saw E icon few times also.

But only one good thing I did was that I took prepaid SIM to test the coverage before porting.

Old school...search for the network (manual search), the network which shows on the top apart from your current sim, has good strength in your location...it also shows available 2g,3g,4g,5g networks

It depends. No operator is a saint here. In my area, i have issues with Jio and Airtel, but VF works perfectly. So it depends upon area to area
