I send the porting messenge on 1900 for aircel sim after 24 hr I didn't received UPC so I tweet on same tagged DOT India and telecom minister in that aircel sent me UPC

Type PORT<SPACE>MOBILE NUMBER send it to 1900
And, it been more than 24hr but aircel didn't sent me UPC so I tweeted tagging aircel, Telecom Minister and DoTIndia

Rubbish. Tried 3 times putting correct figures but they rejected my request on the plea that information furnished doesn't match. Grrrrr.

Seen a BSNL pamphlet uploaded in twiiter it states that Last digit in sim number is dummy asks to use 5 digits before that

So I tried this to generate UPC in my friend's phone when I choose UPC option it ask me to generate UPC by entering your number when I dail the number IVR says that 'ye number apke circle ka nahi hai' (this number is not available for your circle)
