sasitnj bro, you didn't informed me before ordering from amazon, otherwise it would been helpful for the forum. i would have shared our forum link for the same product on amazon. you had to pay the same money.

Sorry bro, I am normally using through cashkaro only, and earn money even Rs.1000 for this TV and Rs.150 for stabilizer.

For 1year I earned above Rs.5000 through this method. ;)

Got Ambrane power bank from flipkart

Got-Ambrane-power-bank-delivered-from-flipkart

..

Processing is little bit slow other than that shipping & delivery is very fast though I don't know the exact delivered date of the product

Package is gud but not perfect .. no thremacol inside of product packed .. chance for damage is high .. just covered by bubble plastic cover inside covered by cardboard outside

My score for flipkart for this product

Processing 2.5/5

Packing 2.5/5

Shipping 4.5/5

Total score 9.5/15

I ordered a media player from Banggood for $72. Its shipped from China. Currently its in transit. Few of my colleagues said the product won't clear customs in India.
Is it so? Do I have to pay customs duty and if so how would I know where to pay?

This is my first order from abroad. Please help me with your thoughts. Thanks

I would suggest not to buy high value products from abroad. Keep it below Rs.2500 to avoid custom duties.
Yes, you will have to pay custom duties. If you are lucky and package is small, they might pass it without any duties.
If duty is small, India Post might pay it and ask for it at the time of delivery with receipt.
Else you might receive a letter for customs dept & you might have to provide them with details they ask & pay duty to them later.
If your have ordered using paid courier like DHL, they will email you asking for details & clear the customs for you, you will have to pay them.

Also, many times these sellers send as a GIFT, write low prices & try to avoid customs, it depends on custom officer's discretion.

Thank you bro. one more question. My order value is 4500rs. So I need to pay duty for entire value or 2000rs (4500rs minus duty free 2500rs)
