Purchased a IFB double door refrigerator during amazon sale on exchange of old single door whirlpool refrigerator.
Selected IFB purely because they are giving 4 years warranty.

Price after discount and exchange - RS 16308
Item delivered in two days
In the shop including reliance digital price is around 22k after all discount, so ordered through Amazon.
Also few local shops here are not promoting IFB they are pushing us to buy godrej or whirlpool only. I guess IFB profit margin is less.

Congratulations

Today I got the delivery of V-Guard VSDI 100 refrigerator stabilizer. It supports refrigerators with a capacity of up to 900 L.

Website product page: VSDI 100 Stabilizer For Inverter Refrigerators

I ordered it from Flipkart.

MRP is Rs. 3,700. I got it for Rs. 3,214.

Due to heavy voltage fluctuations in our area (during summer), our refrigerator compressor started making noise. The company service person told to install stabilizer to protect the compressor from damage.

It has digital display to show the Input and Output voltage.

ITDS (Intelligent time delay system) during start up to protect high voltage pass to the refrigerator.

It operates within a voltage range of 120 to 280 V.

It comes with 5 years warranty.

Overall a top-notch quality product. 👌

I have ordered the following stabiliser for our IFB refrigerator

We have old whirlpool stabiliser which is also suitable, but the guy who came for installation is advising to use IFB brand.

He brought washing machine stabiliser (15Amp large pin stabiliser- We already have this for our washing machine) and forced us to buy it from him.

I informed him it's meant for washing machine and I cannot take it for refrigerator. He then said refrigerator stabilisers are withdrawn and no more available from IFB.

I shown him the product page and ordered the item. Delivery expected today. He then said he will be delivering the item ordered from IFB website.

Very strange. Unless we are not clear these installation guys will brainwash and sell something to use.

How much volt it will give boost in low voltage conditions ? If 120v input means how much will be the output ?

Not sure about that. Neither it's mentioned in the product page.

So far the lowest voltage I observed was 196 last night. It used to send the output as 236 at that time.

When the voltage is normal, it is sending output ranging between 220-230.

Flipkart reviews were good for this one and look wise also it looks modern. Hence I considered.

It's 40v boost then. If your input voltage drops to 120v as stated in the minimum working range then you might get only 160v in the output which is far lower than required. In your location if supply voltage doesn't drops below 160v then it's fine, it will ensure atleast 200v as output. But if it drops lower than 160v than the stabilizer output will also drop below 200v.

There is no data available for output voltage. Most of the voltage stabilizers also slight scam only.

Today I received stabiliser from IFB which I ordered on 5th evening.

This one is for our IFB double door refrigerator we recently purchased.

It has 3 minutes delay start

IFB guy who came for refrigerator installation brought one IFB stabiliser which is meant washing machine.
I told him the stabiliser is not suitable for refrigerator, he was trying to convince me showing a home image printed on the box and saying it means for all home appliances.
I then indicated him the application write up in the box and denied to take up the stabilizer from him. Same stabiliser I already have it for my IFB washing machine. We must be cautious. This one has only 5 sec delay start and requires 15amp socket.
