Dear Friends,

I have been using a Windows Mobile 6.0 smartphone (HTC P3400i) since long and felt like sharing some of the screen customizations that I made over time.

Now though its Android Tablets and Phones for me, still its hard to forget the convenience a Windows Mobile phone provides.

It helps me surf the net or send emails, make documents, presentations on the way to office. Really a Pocket PC indeed.

Here are a few screen grabs of it:

I have been on the same mobile os (windows mobile 6.0) on my htc touch too... good job vinay.. :tup

I used this mobile three years back, now in my electronic trash box. Good phone. But the fonts are smaller, no 3G & Wi-Fi and bit heavy.

RE: Pics: My Windows Mobile 6 Smartphone (HTC P3400i)

I am thinking of upgrading my phone software. Does anyone know if Microsoft offers upgrade for Windows Mobile 6 Operating system?

Vinay Bro.... is this just a coincidence or you already know about this and asked this question exactly today.

BTW about ur question on upgrade, sorry buddy u cannot upgrade WM6 to WP7 even if your mobile support all the hardware requirements. You know why?? WP7 devices should have only three buttons but ur mobile has more as i see from the pics. WM6 will be henceforth called as Windows Mobile Classic and will not be supported anymore.

if u dont understand why i asked the above question (in bold) then read this. this is an official notice.

Thank you so much for the article text.

I knew about the support going away from today since I have downloaded applications from the Windows Marketplace and have read about it.

I wanted to try UI of the latest Windows Mobile version. I read somewhere about a successful upgrade from 6 to 7 and wanted to upgrade as WM 6 apps will not be available from now. :(
