Mobile payment and commerce platform Paytm has unveiled its multilingual interface that enables merchants to overcome language barriers.
The Paytm marketplace seller panel is available in seven languages—English, Hindi, Gujarati, Marathi, Tamil, Telugu and Kannada.
Paytm is also India’s first online marketplace company to support multiple regional languages for its sellers. With this, Paytm has further expanded its reach to merchants across the country that uses the internet.
Commenting on the launch, Paytm VP Saurabh Vashishtha said, “Paytm is privileged to have one of the most trusted seller bases across the country. We consider our merchants as business partners and important stakeholders in our growth story. With this core ideology, this festive season we have launched the seller panel and seller support in seven regional languages. Our multi-lingual seller platform allows merchants from across India to sell on our platform without the worry of any language barrier.”
Paytm will also update its Android seller app with the new multi-language support. This service will benefit more than 1.3 lakh merchants, enabling them to tap the demands of around 130 million customers.
