Firstly it's not a last minute deal. Star have rights till 2020 of Bangladesh cricket.

But this is of least importance to them. You are lucky they are showing this series because they did not show the last series between Bangladesh and Zimbabwe. When I sent them a mail they replied they don't have rights.

So you should be happy they are showing it on one channel atleast.
