Recently I have taken an Airtel Fiber connection (ref thread: Bought Airtel Xstream Fiber Black (Fiber + IPTV) connection with AOT-5221ZY (wifi 6) ONT) so to test things out, I connected my TP Link Deco extender setup to Airtel network and due to this fact my JioFiber connection usage was significantly reduced.

My JioFiber recharge has not expired yet and I occasionally (but very rarely) make use of JioFiber wifi too. Since Airtel broadband internet feels more responsive compared to JioFiber, me & my family members have reduced Jio internet usage and made the shift to Airtel.

To my surprise, today, Jio has sent a WA message in RMN asking about the decrease in my JioFiber usage. I mean this feels strange at a first look. 😲

Don't know whether we should call it as caring (in Jio's words) or monitoring / tracking of our usage patterns. 🤨

This was the received message (cropped the bottom part that contained service status, relocation links and CC number):

Actually this is system generated message which is intended for their internal team member.

I am expecting system is creating list of such customer and send list to internal team/outsources BPO, who will call us or make some gimmick that will FORCE user continue jio service or opt for higher plan rather than shifting usage to other ISP.

similar thing regularly happen when we stop recharging jio sim card more than 1 week after expiry of last STV
