"OnePlus Z" will be officially called as "OnePlus Nord" or "Nord By OnePlus".

Earlier this year, OnePlus had filed a trademark for the name "Nord By OnePlus". OnePlus plans to release smartphones, tablets, headphones & more under this name.

It is unsure whether "Nord By OnePlus" or "OnePlus Nord" is a new sub-brand or a new series of products from OnePlus. It will be clear when OnePlus officially launches its mid-range smartphone early next month.
